About Our Club

Sniff Alberta was formed in 2014.  We are a group of dog owners, located in Calgary, Alberta, who participate in the sport of nosework. Our purpose is to have fun!  We enjoy practising together and are working to grow this exciting new sport in our area.  We focus on positive training.

Our membership is open to all types of dog owners:  first time dog owners,  those venturing into the world of dog sports for the first time, and those with lots of experience in a wide variety of dog sports.

Our dogs come in every shape, size, breed and age:

  • Puppies who have had their 2nd set of vaccinations

  • Veteran dogs who are retired from dogsports and may have physical limitations

  • Shy, fearful, aggressive, reactive, or disabled dogs

  • Purebreds and mixed breeds
